All the time Jatra is a substitute of cinema. It is always a first choice of rural people.  Here also stars are getting much more fame like cinema. When Usasi Mishra one of the famous cine stars of Odia has taken a decision to join in Jatra world it was quite difficult for her to adjust in a different life of open pandals, loud music, excited work schedule, different plays with varied characters, tough task and vast remarks associated with jatras atmosphere. But she was very confident with her decision. She has been playing the lead role in vastly successful shows like Balasore Bohu, Tikie Bhul Heigala, Chhatire Rakhichi Raatira Katha, Mo Bhai Mundare Suna Mukuta and Target Re Raimohan.

Usasi Mishra is the all time beautiful model who turned as actress. She is always amazing with her acting talent. She has done so many Odia song Album videos, more than 30 odia films and many leading TV serials and settled herself in the Ollywood world. She has also acted in two Telugu, seven Bengali and one Chhattisgarhi movie. Her debuted Odia film is 1998 ‘Bou’.  One of her best Music video is “Paritia Kehi batabana hei” opposite of odia actor Bobby Mishra.

Usasi Mishra graduated from the Bhubnaeswar city-based Rama Devi Womens College in Zoology, she went on to do a degree in Fashion Designing in 1995.
