Real pair Aishwarya Ray & Abhishek Bachchan jointed hands for a biopic on Sahir Ludhianvi, titled Gustakhiyan. This is one of the ambitious films of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Gustakhiyan is a biographical film based on the love story of two literary giants, poet Sahir Ludhianvi and noted novelist, Amrita Pritam. Junior Bachchan will be seen in the role of Ludhianvi while his better half Aishwarya essays the role of Amrita.
The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who are reuniting for a movie after 7 years long gap. The last film they did together was Mani Ratnam's ‘Raavan'.
It will be the ninth film of the couple. They have previously worked together in films like Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Na Kaho, Umrao Jaan Sarkar Raj, Guru and Raavan. They are looking lovely on the screen and audience also liked their pair always.
Earlier Priyanka Chopra was selected to play Amrita Pritam, but she skipped the project due to other commitments.
This movie will be directed by Jasmeet Reen, who will make his directorial debut with the film. The film is expected to go on the floors early next year and our expectations are really high from Bhansali, who has earlier given us movies like ‘Bajirao Mastani', ‘Devdas' and ‘Black' to name a few.
