Huma Qureshi's upcoming movie "Partition 1947" to release on 18 August 2017.
This movie for the Hindi version and directed by Gurinder Chadha, the music of the film has been composed by AR Rahman.
The film also stars Manish Dayal, Hugh Bonneville, Gillian Anderson and Late Om Puri in pivotal roles. It tells the story of the final months of the British rule in India.
In the film, Huma Qureshi portrays the role of a Muslim woman, Aalia. She falls in love with a Hindu man, who works at the Viceroy's House.
Partition 1947 is based on the inside life the Viceroy's House during the partition of India. The film, was earlier scheduled to release as Viceroy's House.
