Introduction:
Odia actor Chandan Kar was born on 16th Sept 1981 in Cuttack, Odisha. He is the son of Mr. Ramakant Kar and Mrs. Archana Mishra. His father, Er Ramakant Kar, is a retired government mechanical engineer. By profession Chandan is also an Engineer.
Education:
Chandan completed completed his schooling from D.A.V Public School, Unit – 8, Bhubaneswar and BTech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Orissa Engineering College, 2003.
Film Career:
Chandan made his debut in films with the blockbuster Babu I Love You in 2006 opposite of actress Archita Sahu in female lead. He had no acting experience or knowledge of film making and acting. He was first spotted by Sudhanshu Shekhar working as assistant director under popular film maker Sanjay Nayak.
He was also featured in the movie De Maa Shakti De in the same year. After that he is playing both positive and negative character and has been recognized as a versatile actor in the Odia film industry.
Mate Ani Dela Lakhye Faguna, Chati Chiri Dele Tu, Dhire Dhire Prema Hela, Keun Dunia Ru Asila Bandhu, Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora and many more movies done by him. Bhaina Kan Kala Se his recent released movie opposite of Zeena Samal and Nijum Ratira Sathi is his upcoming odia flick. In this movie Chandan will be seen opposite of new comer Sonali.
