Introduction:

Naina Dash is one of the most respected actresses in the Oriya film industry. She is also having an attachment with Telugu, Bengali and Chhattisgarhi cinemas.

 

Education:

Naina is a bright student; she never compromised on her academic career. She did her graduation from the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya in Odissi vocal to fulfil her wish to be a singer and done Masters Degree in PR and Advertising from Utkal University. She has done MBA from Regional College of Management (RCM).

 

Life And Career:

At the very early age Naina was quite a multi-tasker managing her time with education, dance shows, films and academics. She started doing act when she was in class 12. She offered to host in a reality show on OTV “Prathama Swara”. Then she starred in Raju Mishra's tele serial Duhita that won her the best supporting actress in 2002. After that, she continued to host music and dance shows. She has also done key roles in several odia album video, tele-serials and films. “Deunchi Mo Baan Aakhi” is one of her best acted odia album songs. She collected much popularity through this album song.

In the year 2002 she debuts an Oriya film “Maa Mangala”. Then she acted in many odia movies like Bahudibe Mo Jaga Balia, Sasu Ghara Chalijibi, Munna-A Love Story and Aa Janhare Lekhiba Naa etc. Recently one of her upcoming movie is Tamaku Dekhila Pare opposite of Sidhant Mohapatra. After a long time gap Naina backed to Ollywood Industry through this movie.

Her acting is so commanding. Because of her brilliance in acting she got popularity in Telugu film industry where her debut Telugu film is Junction. She also did a Bengali film and two Chhattisgarhi movies.

 

Award and Achievent:

She won the state-level Sadvabana Award for best film actress in the year in 2004 and as the Best Anchor of the year (AB Visuals).  She was also voted as the most wanted anchor of the Orissa for ETV Oriya in 2005.
