Pragyan Khatua is an Odia television and film comedy actor. He has done many comedy shows on television and then made Ollywood entry. He was seen in recent released odia movie “Gunda” and “Hey Prabhu Dekha De”. He will soon be seen in upcoming movie Mitha Mitha.
“Comedy is an important part in Odia cinema like every other things. If there is no comedy then their is no entertainment” said Pragyan.
Biography
From the childhood Pragyan having a soft corner for acting as a comedian. For that he became a theatre artist and played the first role of lord “Krushna”. His father is his back bone and always inspiring Pragyan. He has done many stage shows in his college time. He is a student of Sangita Mahabidyalay.
After completing his course he had struggled a lot to be an actor. Then he touched the Ollywood ground by Sankershan Pradhan's comedy show Veja Fry. Then again got offered for the comedy show Tadka Mal of Debidatta Mohanty. CID odia comedy is his another comedy act. He got awarded for many of his act.
Pragyan has done many tele serials, comedy shows and debut through Nishikant Dalabehera Odia film “Salam Cinema”. Then his acting boat flows with many movies like Tu Mo Aarambha Tu Mo Sesha, Mun Premi Mun Pagala, Idiot, Daha Balunga, ACP Sagarika, Ishq Tu Hi Tu, Nua Nua Premare, Prema Na Aau Kichhi and many more.
He will soon be seen in Prashant Nanda's upcoming Movie “Mitha Mitha”. His comedy punch will again entertain audience.
